We are pleased to announce that Thorbjørn Anhøj has been appointed as the new CEO of Ross Energy and will succeed Lars Andersen, effective July 1st.
Thorbjørn brings more than 20 years of leadership experience from the international energy, drilling, and offshore industries. Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership positions at KCA Deutag Norway, Awilco Drilling, Maersk Drilling, Maersk Training, Equinor, and ExxonMobil.
His appointment comes at an exciting time for Ross Energy. The company is currently conducting exploration drilling activities for two major onshore CO₂ storage projects in Denmark: Greenstore in Purhus and CO₂ Storage Kalundborg in Havnsø. Both projects are key components of Ross Energy’s commitment to advancing Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) solutions and supporting the energy transition.
“Ross Energy has a strong foundation and an ambitious growth strategy, and I am excited to contribute to the company’s continued development. I see significant opportunities to apply operational experience from the offshore and drilling sectors to support the growth journey that Ross Energy has already embarked upon.”
