A significant milestone has been reached at the Havnsø-1 exploration well near Kalundborg.
The well has now reached its planned total depth of approximately 2,000 metres, and the final liner has been successfully installed and cemented.
The focus now shifts to the next phase of the project, where extensive testing, logging and analysis will help evaluate the reservoir's suitability for future CO₂ storage.
Ross Energy is proud to have contributed to the project of Equinor, Ørsted, Nordsøfonden, alongside MND Drilling & Services, and the many contractors and specialists involved.
Before moving on to the next phase, it was great to gather everyone on site and celebrate the milestone the traditional way, with hot dogs and good conversations.
